This course helps students to develop the skills and knowledge required for working in a play setting. It is for those interested in a job in play work or already working with school-aged children in a play scheme, adventure playground or after-school clubs.
Course content:
- Promoting positive behaviour
- Communication
- Health, safety and wellbeing
After this course: Progression to level 3 qualification or promotion
Level 1 qualification in English and Maths or an equivalent level in the initial College assessment. Learners must be employed or volunteering in an appropriate job role and provide evidence of a Criminal Record Declaration on enrolment
