About the course:
This course helps students to develop the practical skills and theoretical knowledge required for plastering.
Course content:
- Safe working practices in construction
- Information, quantities and communicating with others
- Building methods and construction technology
- Applying plaster materials to external surfaces
- Fixing dry lining and plasterboard products to interiors
- Forming sand and cement screeds
- Producing plaster components
- Applying plaster materials to internal surfaces
- Positioning and securing fibrous plaster components
After this course: Progression to level 3 qualification, employment or an apprenticeship.
Full time:
Level 1 Plastering.
Part time:
Students need the above and be self-employed or working in this area.
