This course helps students to develop a broad range of dance techniques and skills in dance, performance or arts administration at an intermediate level.
Course content:
- Production project and joint performance
- Performing dance
- Contemporary dance
- Jazz dance
- The Performing Arts business
- Musical Theatre
- Functional skills - English, Maths
After this course: Progression to level 3 qualification or employment.
Students need to have 4 GCSE passes (Grades A*- E).
If you have not achieved a Grade D or above in English or Maths you will need a level 1 pass in the initial College assessment.
You will be required to attend both an audition and interview.
