Painting and Decorating - CSKILLS NVQ Level 3 Diploma

This course is for learners who are employed as a painter and decorator who would like a qualification in work competency.

Course content:

• Safe working practices in construction
• Information, quantities and communicating with others
• Building methods and construction technology
• Erecting and dismantling access equipment and working platforms
• Applying paint systems by brush and roller
• Applying hangings to walls and ceilings
• Producing specialist decorative finishes
• Specialist architectural feature work
• Applying water born paint systems using airless equipment
• Preparation of surfaces for decoration

After this course: Promotion.
 

You must be over the age of 16 and employed as a painter and decorater.

Level 2 in Painting and Decorating. Learners will submit a portfolio of evidence supported by photographic, written and observation testimonies. At least two site visits will be arranged.
