Course content: This course will help students to develop the skills and knowledge required to work in a modern recording studio. The chosen modules cover current industry practice and fully investigate the techniques of musical composition alongside audio and midi sequencing.

- Exploring computer systems used by musicians
- DJ technology and performance
- Producing a music recording
After this course: Progression to level 3 course or employment.
Students need to have 2 GCSE passes (Grades A* - D).
If you have not achieved a grade D or above in English or Maths you will need a level 1 pass in the initial College assessment.
