This course is for learners who are employed in a maintenance operations role who would like a qualification in work competency.
Course content:
- Painting and decorating
- Bricklaying/masonry
- Carpentry
- Plastering and rendering
- Plumbing
- Use of handheld power tools
- Use of access equipment - static and mobile towers
- Safe working practices in construction
- Information, quantities and communicating with others
- Building methods and construction technology
After this course: Progression to higher level qualification.
You must be over the age of 16 and employed in an appropriate maintenance role.
Learners will submit a portfolio of evidence supported by photographic, written and observation testimonies. At least two site visits will be arranged.
