IT - BTEC Level 2 Diploma

About the course: This course helps students to develop the skills and knowledge required for the different areas of ICT at an intermediate level.

Course content:

• Communicating in the IT industry
• Working in the IT industry
• Computer systems
• Database systems
• Website development
• Spreadsheets
• Functional skills – English, Maths

After this course: Progression to level 3 qualification or employment.

Students need to have 4 GCSE passes (Grades A*- E). If you have not achieved a Grade D or above in English or Maths you will need a level 1 pass in the initial College assessment.
