The course provides the required underpinning knowledge and practical training for assessment of occupational competence to enable electricians to install small scale photovoltaic systems.
Course content:
- Identify systems, equipment and components
- Plan for environments equipment and components
- Install environmental systems equipment and components
- Commission environmental technology systems equipment and components
After this course: Progression to related courses or employment.
Applicants should be registered JIB electricians, hold an NVQ L3 qualification in electrical installation (CG2351, CG2356 or EAL L3 electrotechnical services).
