Health and Social Care - CG Level 3 Diploma

This course covers the skills and knowledge needed to support others in a wide range of health and social care settings. Employees or volunteers who work in the health and social care sector as a senior care worker, key worker or healthcare assistant will benefit from this course.

This is the main qualification required by the Care Quality Commission

Course content:

• The role of the health and social care worker
• Health and safety
• Equality and inclusion
• Personal development

Additional units will also be undertaken in relation to specific job roles, (e.g. Administering medication, supporting people with disabilities).

After this course: Progression to additional Health and Social Care units or promotion.
 

Level 2 Maths and English or equivalent at initial College assessment. Learners must be working/volunteering in a health and social care setting.
