This course is ideal for employees/volunteers working in the Health and Social Care sector. It helps students to develop the skills and knowledge required to care for others in a wide range of health or social care settings. It is flexible to suit all fields of adult health and social care.
Course content:
You can choose a route that suits your role - e.g.
- Working with people with a learning disability
- Working with people with dementia
- Working in a general social care route
Please note: This is the main qualification required by the Quality Care Commission in England and the Care Councils in Wales and Northern Ireland. It is also recommended by Skills for Care.
You must be over the age of 18 and employed in a relevant work setting. Experience in the sector is required.
