The fees above are for the 90-credit Diploma, obtained after the first year of study.
The fees for the Extended Diploma, obtained after the second year of study, are subject to change in the future but are currently:

This course helps students to develop the skills and knowledge required for Health and Social Care sector at an advanced level.
Work experience on the course is a 2-week block per year.
We want all students to aspire to complete a two year Extended Diploma. The one year Subsidiary (90 credit) Diploma is a ‘stepping stone’ qualification, which is achieved after one year of study. Students can then opt to progress to the Extended Diploma or study alternative courses.

- Development through the life stages
- Fundamentals of anatomy and physiology
- Personal and professional development
- Sociological perspectives for health and science
- Psychological perspectives
- Working in the social care sector
After this course: Higher Education or employment.
Students need to have 4 GCSE passes (Grades A*- C), including English and ideally Maths Science or level 2 in the initial College assessment, or have a level 2 vocational qualification with a Merit or Distinction.
