Health and Social Care - BTEC Level 1 Diploma

This course provides an introduction to health and social care and helps students to develop the skills and knowledge required for the sector.

Course content:

• Working and developing skills in health and social care
• Personal effectiveness
• Social responsibility at work
• Images of people
• Health and the environment
• Exploring local services
• Functional skills - English, Maths, ICT

After this course: Progression to level 2 qualification or an Apprenticeship.

Students need to have entry level 3 in English and Maths or achieve an equivalent level in the initial College assessment.

You will be required to attend a short interview.
