This course provides an introduction to health and social care and helps students to develop the skills and knowledge required for the sector.
Course content:
- Working and developing skills in health and social care
- Personal effectiveness
- Social responsibility at work
- Images of people
- Health and the environment
- Exploring local services
- Functional skills - English, Maths, ICT
After this course: Progression to level 2 qualification or an Apprenticeship.
Students need to have entry level 3 in English and Maths or achieve an equivalent level in the initial College assessment.
You will be required to attend a short interview.
