This course helps learners to progress to a senior styling, management or salon trainer role or onto a higher level qualification. It is suitable for those who have been working in the hairdressing industry and who have completed a level 2 hairdressing qualification and wish to develop their skills and knowledge.

Course content:

Cutting
Colouring
Perming
Styling including hair-up
Colour Correction
Scalp Massage
Styling and dressing Afro-Caribbean type hair
Relaxing Afro-Caribbean type hair
Client consultaion
Working in the hair industry
Health and safety

Please note: Prior to starting the course learners are expected to purchase their own hairdressing kit (approximately £140) which will be theirs to keep and use in the industry or further training.

After this course: Employment

Hairdressing Level 2 or relevant industry experience. You will be asked to take a trade test when you come for your interview.
