ESOL English for Speakers of other Languages - Preparation for Health and Social Care Entry Level 3 Cambridge Certificate

This course helps learners to improve their English and develop their skills for working in the area of Health and Social Care.  ESOL examinations take place throughout the duration of the course.

Course content:

• English – reading, writing, speaking, listening and grammar
• Citizenship
• Skills for work in Health and Social Care, health and safety, communicating in Care, understanding policies and procedures in Health and Social Care, learning and using specialist Care language for form-filling and interviews
• ICT – touch typing and use of Microsoft Office
• Work placement in a Health and Social Care environment

After this course: Progression to a level 1 qualification or employment.

You will be asked to take an assessment in English to make sure you are at the right level for the course.
