Domestic Plumbing and Heating - CG Level 2 Diploma

This course provides learners with the underpinning knowledge required to become fully qualified plumbers. Learners are expected to attend college two days a week for theory and practical classes in plumbing as well as English and Maths classes.

Course content:

• Basic plumbing skills theory
• Practical workshops
• English
• Maths
• Tutorial

After this course: Progression to level 3 qualification, employment or an apprenticeship.

Please note: In order to become a fully qualified plumber, learners need to gain employment in the industry and also  study for the NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing and Heating.

GCSE passes (Grades A* - D) in English and Maths. An aptitude for working in the building industry with some previous practical experience is desirable.
