The costs given above are for the first year of the course.
This is a part-time in-service course for teachers/trainers currently working in the Lifelong Learning Sector. It has been planned to meet the professional needs of teachers in further and adult education and training institutions as well as the general professional standards laid down by LSIS. The course has been planned to take account of the current changes in teacher training by practitioners closely involved in these developments and enhances the knowledge, skills and professional attributes required. The emphasis in the first year is on preparation for competent classroom delivery. The second year focuses on the broader professional context of lifelong learning.

Relevant academic, vocational or professional qualifications and experience (some applicants will be graduates). Evidence of on-course paid teaching for a minimum of 75 hours in the first year and a further 75 paid hours in the second year. Teaching placements will not be provided.
You will also be required to provide a recent enhanced CRB disclosure and have an identified mentor from your place of work.
