This course develops counselling skills and provides a framework for different types of support work, such as mentoring, key working, care planning, teaching and pastoral work.
Course content:
- Counselling theory and skills practise
- Weekly learning reviews and summaries
- Essay and personal assessment
After this course: Level 3 Counselling Studies CPCAB Certificate.
Learners need to have completed an introductory course in counselling (30 hours) or have relevant occupational experience and be personally ready to work with own self-awareness in relation to others.
