This course provides the skills and knowledge necessary for progression to Higher Education. Learners attend London South Bank University for one practical workshop each week and are able to gain access to facilities at the University through the Associate Student Scheme.
Course content:
- Conventional and computer aided design and manufacture
- Engineering science
- Study skills and communication
- Maths
- ICT
After this course: Higher Education to study for a degree in Mechanical Engineering, project design , CAD and aerospace.
4 GCSE passes (Grades A* - C) or a level 2 vocational qualification and English and Maths at level 2 in the initial College assessment.
Work or life experience in this area is required.
