Communication and interactions with individuals who have dementia - CG Level 2 Unit

The qualifications in awareness of dementia and dementia care are aimed at occupational areas across all service user groups and ages, working in statutory (including NHS), private and voluntary agencies.

Course content:

• Understanding that individuals with dementia may communicate in different ways
• Understanding the importance of positive interactions with individuals with dementia
• Understanding the factors which can affect interactions and communication of individuals with dementia

You must be over the age of 18 and employed in a relevant work setting.
