Children and Young People's Workforce - CG Level 3 Diploma

This course covers the skills and knowledge required in Child Care in a wide range of career settings. It is recommended for those who wish to develop a career as a child minder, nursery nurse or nursery manager.

Course content:

• Understanding children and young person’s development
• Context and principles for early years provision
• Promoting the well-being and resilience of children and young people
• Supporting children and young people in achieving their educational potential

After this course: Progression to further Child Care units or promotion.
 

Level 2 in English and Maths or an equivalent level in the initial College assessment. Learners must be employed in an appropriate job role and provide evidence of a Criminal Record Declaration on enrolment.
