This course helps students to develop the skills and knowledge required in Child Care in a wide range of career settings.
Course content:
- Understanding children and young person development
- Context and principles for early years provision
- Promoting the well-being and resilience of children and young people
- Supporting children and young people in achieving their educational potential
After this course: Progression to level 3 qualifications or promotion.
Level 1 in English and Maths or an equivalent level in the initial College assessment. Learners must be employed in an appropriate job role and provide evidence of a Criminal Record Declaration on enrolment.
