This course develops the practical hand skills and technical knowledge required to work in the Construction industry as a professional bench joiner.
Joiners are vital to the Construction industry, which is an important contributor to the economy.
Skilled staff are always in demand in this sector and many job opportunies are set to be created over the next few years with the approach of the 2012 Olympics, the new jobs being created by the Crossrail train network, the increase in demand for new homes and more energy efficient buildings.
Students need to have 5 GCSE passes (Grades A* - C) or have completed an Apprenticeship.
You must be aged 16 or over. Candidates must be living in England and not taking part in full-time education.
Candidates must be employed in an appropriate job role and able to attend college one day a week.
