This course helps learners to develop the practical skills and theoretical knowledge required in beauty therapy as preparation for work or higher level study.
Course content:
- Facial treatments
- Eye treatments
- Nail care
- Wax depilation
- Reception and retail duties
- Health and safety
After this course: Progression to a level 3 qualification, an apprenticeship or employment.
Please note: Prior to starting the course learners will be expected to purchase their own uniform (approximately £25) and beauty kit (approximately £90) which they will keep when they finish the course and use in their future career.
Level 1 in Beauty Therapy or a Level 1 in Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy (Introduction).
