Art and Media - Edexcel Entry Level Certificate

This course is for school leavers with moderate learning difficulties and/or disabilities who want to work in the arts or media. It provides an introduction to the skills required in arts and media with a focus on developing basic skills.

Course content:

• Developing creative skills
• 3-D design, drawing  painting
• Developing media skills
• Computer aided design
• Video and photography
• Health and safety
• Functional skills – English, Maths, ICT

After this course:

Independence and employment.

No formal entry requirements but students will be required to show a portfolio of work.
